utStudyBible (working name) is a Bible study app for Ubuntu Touch, built for old, low-memory phones. It reads SWORD modules from CrossWire and other repositories.

User manual

  • Managing modules: find, install and remove Bibles, dictionaries and commentaries.
  • Importing modules: install a module zip from a web address or a file on the phone.
  • Reading display: text size, face and spacing, verse numbers, running text and the words of Jesus in red.
  • Cross-references and notes: tap a verse for its notes and TSK cross-references, copy it, and jump to a reference and back.

Screenshots

Screenshots: each feature on the phone, with the build it was taken on.

For developers

The design, decisions and quality gates live in the repository, versioned with the code: start with docs/04-features.md and the README.
