From docs/04-features.md ("Also planned", design direction) and docs/01-pathway.md phase 2.

Two windows, for example a Bible and a commentary, or two translations.
Scrolling stays in sync across versifications through the v11n mapper (a separate issue). A pinned window stays where it is.
The windows converge back to one.
Mind the docs/07 memory budget: the second window's renderer must not double the peak PSS. tools/mem-check needs a two-window step.
