Follow-up to #13, split out by the owner on 2026-10-29.

#13 ships footnote and cross-reference markers as letters only (the module's n label, else a–z restarting each verse). This issue adds:

A dot marker style as an alternative to letters, for a quieter page.
A Display setting "Notes": Letters / Dots / Off.

Mockups: "Q1 B · Dot markers" and "Q1 · Display setting" on the #13 design canvas (the owner's private artifact LKo59hG9K71zkvpJAF6QoB).
